A Note from the Administrator...
Dear friends,
Queridos amigos, Una nota del Administrador...
Our parish has quite a few “events” coming up. Next Saturday is the Annual St. MM Car Show, 8am to 3pm here on the school lawn. Also that same day, at 12 noon, is the nation-wide Fatima Rosary Rally, prayed locally at Walnut Park (4600 Walnut Ave. near the corner of Walnut and Ramona). But the BIG EVENT comes the following weekend: St. Margaret Mary Day, in our parish hall after all Sunday Masses on Oct. 22. Some things to look forward to: Free pancake breakfast after morning Masses and free snacks after the afternoon Masses, displays from each of our ministries and fraternal groups, a white elephant sale, and free tickets for free vintage St. MM church door prizes (like old paschal candles, old liturgical books, old liturgical cloths and linens, a piece of the former communion rail, etc. etc.). This memorable day will also include a brief video and display about our upcoming REBUILD REFRESH RENEW campaign. (This may all be too much excitement for older people to handle.) I should say a word about the white elephant sale. Each parish family is asked to select something from their home that they really like, and has some value … and drop it off at the church office this week or bring it to the parish hall from 2 to 6 pm the day before (Saturday the 21st). Ed Gomez, in charge of the sale, will be present to receive your offering. This particular sale is not for cast-off clothing, old books or DVDs. Any Items you bring should be things you genuinely like, that have value, that you’re willing to let go of. For instance, I’m giving up some rings from my flamboyant days … but no wives, husbands or children left here please! More about all this next week. Peace, All Good!

Father Michael Miller and St. Margaret Mary Church, Thank you for providing the precious donation for our use, a DVD player, a large Screen TV and four much needed fans. There is no way to show appreciation for the moments of education, entertainment and comfort that these items will furnish. We wish to share a glimpse of the beauty, joy and peace to which we are privileged. We pray for you and your parishioners.
THANK YOU!!!
