- Test procedure:Multiplexer include a number of services with the aspect ratio of 4: 3 and a service with the aspect ratio of 16: 9. All services in the multiplexer be stored in de-multiplexing before recording.STB shall detect the transport stream with the services the on the aspect ratio of 16: 9.

It is necessary check the receiver with the capability to transmit at least one signal suitable to 4:3 aspect ratio. Such suitable signal shall consist of the following formats:

Center cut-out format, possible with lines/scan

Letterbox format

Expected results:The viewer shall be able to choose between the following storable display mode preferences:

1.Display picture part by use of transmitted pan vectors or if the pan-vectors are not present, display with letterbox conversion. (Default mode in decoder settings)

Using STB to detect the transport stream including streaming services in redundancy with the valid input resolution ( 720x576, 544x576, 480x576, 352x576, 352x288 pixels - Video resolutions supported) and the valid output resolution to be converted down to respective 1/16 of displayed screen size (360x288 and 180x144 size) shall be implemented.Expected Results:Down-conversion from any valid input resolution(720x576, 704x576, 544x576, 480x576, 352x576, 480x288, pixels) to 1/4 respective 1/16 of displayed screen size(360x288 and 180x144) shall be implemented. It shall be possible to locate the downconverted video anywhere on the screen.
