Every students’ Union in the
country exists for one
reason and that’s to serve
students. But we are also
run by students; there is
plenty of time to get
involved still for this year,
wanna do something for
this paper? Great! More the
merrier, may interest you to
know we also have an
online magazine called Slant
that really needs some
newbies. We are not just
looking for people to write,
we also need people to take
photos, review gigs/ films/
games etc or just have an
opinion on how we are set
the thing out. Interested?
Why not! All you need to do
to is send us an email to
[email protected], or get more
details on the website

Welcome
newbies, and all you lot who
have come back for some
more! Can’t believe its
December already. So far since
September the Students’
Union has enjoyed the most
successful half term in recent
history, with the Freshers
Fayre (see page three for pics)
attracting record numbers and
most of our trips and events
selling out in record time. If
you don’t know us already we
have existed at the college for
almost as long as the college
has been around. The earliest
trace was from a poster made
in 1969 to promote a charity
gig BPCSU put on at the
Pavilion, headlined by The
Who. If you don’t know who
are The Who then Google
them, but trust us when we
say that in 1969 they were
massive!
