The microFIT effectmicroFit’s Most successful Year to date! IESO hit its target to procure 50 MW under MicroFIT which catapulted Canada from 30th to 10th for installed solar capacity added that year.
The microFIT effectDue to the success of Ontario's MicroFIT program, more provinces are getting on board. Alberta is targeting 30% of electricity generation from renewables. Saskatchewan has a 50% renewable energy target by 2030.
The microFIT effectIn 2016, the Government of Canada has set a goal of being powered by 100% renewable electricity by 2025.
