The Everett Events Center is home to the Western Hockey League franchise, the Everett Silvertips, and seats up to 8,300 excited hockey fans. In addition to hockey, the venue accommodates many other sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics.

The campus is close to parks, golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, multiple beaches, popular restaurants, shopping and movie theaters.

The New Nursing and Health Sciences Building, Liberty Hall, is the home to Nursing, Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy programs and other health sciences training.

This scholarship is open to all new, first-quarter international students who have been issued an Everett Community College I-20 and have obtained a visa.

50 scholarships available for each academic year.

Summer Quarter (Deadline: June 1) $1,000 eachFall Quarter (Deadline: September 1) $1,000 eachWinter Quarter (Deadline: December 1) $1,000 eachSpring Quarter (Deadline: March 1) $1,000 each

Eligibility : Must be a new, first-quarter international student who has beenissued an EvCC I-20 and has obtained a visa. Must demonstrate that you maintained at least an 85% or higher gpa at your previous institution(s). The transcripts you submitted at the time of application will be part of the review process.

Application : Apply for admission. After obtaining a visa, write a one page essay in Microsoft Word detailing the following:

LEADERSHIP – describe your leadership experiences in your extracurricular activities.COMMUNITY SERVICE – describe the events you have participated in that helped to improve your community. How do you intend to continue doing community service as an EvCC student?

Note: Essays more than one page will not be accepted.

HomestayMany international students choose a homestay as they are getting started. Student who are 16 years old are required to use a homestay option.

Students learn about the area, bus routes and find out about activities and events through their host families.

After awhile students may choose to live on campus in one of two residence halls.
