2What We Learned This Year
The Quest for Knowledge
.This publication was created by Central Ohio Association for
Talent and Development members participating in Employee
Learning Week activities in 2018. ATD’s Employee Learning Week
(ELW) is an awareness campaign highlighting the important
connection between learning and achieving organizational results.
Learning and Development (L&D) is an interdisciplinary profession
where many come from a variety of academic and work backgrounds.
Due to the diversity of backgrounds, it can be challenging for L&D
professionals to have a baseline of knowledge in learning theories
and technologies. Members were invited to share their tips and
information they learned in 2018 that helps them do the work they
do. This publication explores what tips and programs of our
members utilized this year and felt were worth sharing with the L&D
community. Enjoy!
