The spooling system design keeps the wireline as straight as possible as it comes off the drum until it enters the first sheave. The lightweight, straight-line design eliminates the need for a large, heavy, wrap-around spooling system.
The pneumatic cylinder (for height adjustment) combined with the hydraulic side to side steering offers an unparalleled range of motion for the entire spooling system.
The drawworks area can be configured to accommodate a variety of line sizes and applications.

A pull-out step with a safety grip provides safe and convenient entry and exit from the cabin.
All hardware and fasteners are stainless steel, selected for durability and resistance to corrosion.
Two-stage, stainless steel, locking D-ring latches on the external compartment doors are durable, reliable, easy to use, and will not unlatch if jarred.
The frame and plate design localizes the repair required if an accident occurs. Unlike formed bodies, where damage affects the entire body, repairs on a frame and plate design are limited to the damaged section of the frame and individual plates.
A variety of optional tables and trays installed in the exterior compartments provide a convenient and practical way to expand the potential work area and storage.
The all-aluminum body construction provides lightweight strength, corrosion resistance, and maintenance-free durability.

External compartment doors have a flush fit design with the door seal protected by the door frame. This eliminates leaks through the doors and creates an esthetically appealing exterior.

Gas shocks on the external compartment doors ensure the doors open and shut smoothly and completely. Scuff plates on all body corners help to
protect the unit from road damage.
Non-slip external walking surfaces help to prevent accidents in wet or slippery conditions.
A heavy duty tarp covers the drawworks area and protects the equipment from dirt and precipitation during travel and storage.

Custom all-aluminum extrusions form a high-strength framework that interlocks with aluminum plates. This construction not only minimizes dimensional errors common with other fabrication techniques, but also results in an extremely strong, stable, durable and lightweight structure.
Gaskets are installed between all components of dissimilar metals to eliminate electrolytic corrosion.
Frame & Safety
The spring-mounted body moves independently of the chassis frame, which protects the unit’s structural integrity, reduces road shock, and increases overall product longevity.
11 w w w . l e e s p e c i a l t i e s . c o m
All high voltage wiring installations are CSA inspected and labeled.
The UHMW synthetic isolation blocks installed between the chassis frame rails and the body sub-frame prevents electrolytic corrosion and increases the life of the unit because they do not deteriorate like the commonly used wood blocks.
Wireline jobs require long working hours in the field. The operator’s cabin is designed to keep workers safe and comfortable.
To accommodate customer requirements, the body of the wireline unit can be adapted to suit a variety of truck chassis styles. The modular design permits the re-chassis of the body unit.
Chassis
We take safety seriously. That is why Lee Specialties Trucks carry the National Safety Mark, your guarantee of safety and quality.

The custom operator’s console is designed for ease of operation, convenience and efficiency.
Optional Linewise ( and Memory Adapter Tool data acquisition systems (for slickline units) ) is installed near the operator’s chair to create a complete wireline operations work center.
A fully adjustable, industrial quality operator’s chair provides durable, ergonomic comfort during those long work days.
A variety of windows and vents provide ventilation.
Red, night-vision light inside the operator’s cabin.
Emergency shut-off controls for both the electrical system and the diesel engine allow the operator to power down quickly in the case of an emergency.
AM/FM/CD stereo provides welcome relief from the sounds of running engines and operating machinery.
Dual, forced-air, hot water heaters are standard equipment.
Working surfaces and optional binder storage adjacent to the operator’s chair create an efficient and convenient work space.

MEASURING HEADS
16
The Universal Measuring Head provides accurate depth, speed and line thickness measurement for slickline sizes as small as 0.062” and braided line sizes up to 1/2”; eliminating the need for combination wireline units to carry two measuring heads. By incorporating dual digital encoders for electronic depth, a planetary drive for mechanical depth and a slickline oiler system this measuring head covers all of your slickline, cased hole and open hole measurement needs. The simple side loading, lightweight design makes for effortless installation and maintenance.
NOTE: Included with the counter is a quick release adapter for mounting the Lee Specialties Inline Tension device (sold separately).
