Why Woodstock is so superb…

• Woodstock is Woodstock. • That is why you should care. It is an extremely

insane event that totally was created from the sprit of rock and roll. At the time of the late 60’s rock was what it was about. Because of the war America was protesting peace and love not hate and violence. It’s a fad that everyone should be all for. It is the peak of this ideal and the pride of the “hippies”. Is honestly just something to be marveled at for its awesomeness.

THE 60’S BRO… “In the United States, "The

Sixties", as they are known in popular culture in some cases nostalgically to describe the counterculture and social revolution near the end of the decade; and pejoratively to describe the era as one of irresponsible excess and flamboyance. The decade was also labeled the Swinging Sixties because of the libertine attitudes that emerged during this decade. Rampant recreational drug use and casual sex has become inextricably associated with the counterculture of the era”

That sums it up to be a decade of freedom and peace

What’s it all about

Ok so Woodstock was like this idea of just like going with the times, peace and love and the coolness of America. Some bros were like “charge money make a fortune” but that didn’t fly cause it was so much bigger then they expected. Hundreds of thousands of people showed up to this love fest. And no way are they gonna charge em all. So they had tons of bands there too so people hung out for three days just surrounded by peace love and rock. Some good music.

So it shows how America Has changed since the wars. When we were in Vietnam, America was all about love and peace. But It got taken to our land like when 9/11 Happened we got upset and wanted to protect our land and were done with the whole hippie thing

Conclusion

• So pretty much Woodstock was BA and sweet. Totally about all the things that should be cared about and wanted. Yet America changed from that way of look at things. Woodstock tried to be replicated but none were as infamous as the original.
