Answers may vary. Sample essay:

Title: Sharing Chores

Many children don’t do household chores because they think it is not important. But when

children grow up and live alone, they can’t manage work such as cooking and cleaning.

My 24-year-old brother comes home on the weekends with a big bag of laundry. He

complains to my mom about food and his dirty apartment. I think it is because he never

helped with chores at home. Parents don’t share work with their children so they can study

and do well at school.

But this is wrong. Children don’t have to do everything. They can start with work like

folding clothes and putting toys in their place. If children help at home, it makes them

responsible, independent and better team players.

I think it is important that children help with household chores so they are better prepared

for the future.

same opportunities.

OR

The bright children of poor families are often left behind.

D. Answers may vary. Sample answer:

I felt bad knowing that Amit didn’t get the scholarship, despite faring well in the exams.
