You have your German chocolate cake

but there’s no icing yet...

• 1 can of evaporated milk

(6oz)

• 2/3 cup of regular sugar

• ¼ cup butter

• 1 medium sized egg;

slightly beaten

• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla

extract (or Almond

extract)

• 1 1/3 cups coconut flakes

• ½ cup Pecan or Almonds

or a combination of both

1. Combine all

ingredients (except

nuts and coconut

flakes) in a medium

sized sauce pot and

put on low flame.

2. Constantly stir the

mixture to get a

creamy thick

consistency.

3. Once texture is ideal, remove from stove, add all

the other ingredients and mix them well.

4.Let it cool and spoon over your cake!
