Reflection
“And Mary said, “My Soul proclaims the greatness of the
Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior.” LUKE 1:46
After Jesus, we look to Mary as our model of
stewardship. Her entire life was lived in obedience to
God’s will. Just as the moon reflects the light of the sun,
Mary reflects the light of Christ. Like Mary, we too are
called to reflect Christ to the world. We do this by living
grateful and generous lives. We do this by putting other’s
needs before our wants.
Bible Study Group
We are looking to restart the Thursday
morning Bible Study Group. Everyone is
welcome to attend. If you are interested in
attending, please contact the parish
office. Thank you.
In Thanksgiving
Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish & School is deeply grateful
to all those parishioners who so kindly and generously
help us build a solid foundation for future generations by
leaving a gift to the parish in their will/through a bequest.
May God eternally reward them for their love and
generosity and may our community always remember
them with gratitude and in prayer!

Have you ever thought about being a
religious education teacher?
We've had terrific men and women serve our parish as
religious education teachers (catechists) through-out
the years at Blessed Trinity Parish - faithful and faith
filled individuals willing to share our Catholic faith and
their love for Jesus Christ with preschoolers to high-
schoolers; giving of their time and their talent to assure
that what we adults treasure most is passed on to the
next generation. Here are three reasons to be a part of
our faith formation effort this year:
1. Meet wonderful people: be more than just a
face in the crowd at Mass; get to know fellow
parishioners.
2. It's a rewarding experience: our parish
children are terrific kids! They have so much to
teach us as they offer fresh insights, ask thought-
provoking questions and share the joy and vitality
of life.
3. Be good at something: discover new abilities;
dust off gifts and talents you've not used for awhile.
Make a positive difference!
We provide training, materials and on-going support.
Please reach out to Sheila Utter 592-5711 x 3, if you
are interested in working with 3K-5th Grade, If you
are interested in working with Middle School and High
School/Confirmation Prep reach out to Claire Blau
592-5711 x 4. Make a difference in the life of a young
person and discover the difference it makes in your
life!
5 Bible Verses about Mary, Mother of Jesus
As we celebrate Mary’s Assumption, here are 5 verses
to read and contemplate about Mary’s life:
1) Song of Solomon 2:10-11,
2) Revelation 12:1,
3) Psalm 132:8-9,
4) John 19:26-27,
5) Acts 1:14
From the Principal’s Desk…..
The month of August is the equivalent of Sunday night for
our teachers. The summer is officially ending and we are
on the hunt for the best back-to-school sales! Now that
we’ve unloaded our new literacy and math curriculum,
we are ready to hit the lesson planning hard. Our
teachers will be hard at work getting the classrooms
ready for all of the students to come back and our
in-service is filled with training, professional
development, and all things new for the 2021-2022
school year. I think the refreshment of summer will
continue to rejuvenate our excitement as we get ready to
welcome everyone back for a fun-filled year. Stay tuned
for next week when we reveal one of our exciting new
additions to the BT family! -Mrs. Zepp
Home Communion Ministers Needed
We have been blessed to return to the care centers to
distribute communion for those who are unable to come
to mass. We also have several parish members living at
home in need of a communion visit. We are looking for
more people to join us in this most important ministry. At
this time we visit 3 care centers in Lodi; Divine Savior,
Our House, and Haven Hills. We visit on Monday
mornings and Wednesday mornings. We are looking for
a time commitment of 1 hour 1-2 times per month. If you
love the Lord in the Eucharist and are interested in
bringing him to those who are unable to join us at mass,
please call or email Sheila Utter, Pastoral Care
Coordinator at 608-592-5711 ext 3 or
sutter@btcatholic.us. Instruction and supplies will be
provided for those who are volunteering.
We welcome into God’s family and our parish family
Lucie Louise Hamann, daughter of Richard and
Chelsea who was baptized last weekend. God’s
blessings to them on this most holy sacrament.
