Black Box (Pvt.) Limited, is using state of the art GPS/GSM/GPRS technology for Vehicle Tracking andAssets Surveillance. GSMs various platforms are utilized for communication with the Vehicles, Assetsand downloading of various datas.

Our BF-16 Tracking Unit is state of the art equipment marketed all over Pakistan. Black Box (Pvt.) Limitedis the only company in Pakistan, which uses all three platforms for tracking and facilitation of variousservices to our valued clients. The use of multiple GSM platforms facilitates prompt response from thevehicle and also provides a back up support.

SMS (Short Messaging Service):SMS is the platform wherein small packets of data are transferred back and forth. This is a basic serviceprovided by mobile phone service providers and is used to transmit a request to the BF-16 TRACKINGUNIT for location / status of the vehicle. The information received is catered as per defined SOPs. Withthe help of SMS, only the most recent or current location of a vehicle is determined with a time laps.

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service):GPRS facilitates provision of real time live tracking. The advent of GPRS in vehicle tracking industry willrevolutionized the concept of fleet management. Black Box (Pvt.) Limited (BF-16 TRACKING UNIT) uses both SMS and GPRS platforms to get the locationof a vehicle and other surveillance data. It means BF-16 TRACKING UNIT can communicate by using boththe platforms i.e., by sending an SMS to update the location or by sending a certain volume of bundleddata through GPRS which enables the control room to monitor vehicular movement every 3 to 5seconds and visualize the same on monitors in continuity.

Our product is sold with one-year complete replacement and free service warranty. Technical serviceswill remain available after the end of warranty period at very nominal service charge. We have anOperations Department responsible for 24-Hours customer service.

This is a cluster of 24 satellites stations in a Geo- stationary orbit around the Earth (Globe).When Black Box (Pvt.) Limited BF-16 TRACKING UNIT is installed and gets connected with apower source, it starts receiving beacon / coordinates from 7-8 GPS satellites. This data isprocessed by the BF-16 TRACKING UNIT and is saved within the memory of the BF-16 TRACKINGUNIT.

2) GSM stands for Global System of Mobile Communication.
