DIGITAL NATIVES AND DIGITAL INMIGRANTS

 According to the article the students have changed radically, the new generation is not like

the old generation about the way of life, dressed, think or the habitsand also the

educational system has changed because the students do not have the same thoughts.

The new generation has found the way to simplify the way of life or the way how to doeasier all that they need.

The students that know all about the technology and they pass playing video games, video

chat and so on has the definition of digital natives because they do not to learn about how

to use it they just know all about and do not need an explanation and also there are the

people that do not have the knowledge to know how is the process for use the technology

and they need to learn step by step how to do something because they do not have the

experience and they are called digital immigrant. There are professors that has to learn

step by step and sometimes they are the professionals that teach to the digital immigrant

but the problem with the students that are digital immigrant is that they not appreciate all

about technology because sometimes they feel that the process is faster when they haveto learn with the digital natives and sometimes they leave the school.

In the years the way to teach has been changed because the students are changing too

and also is more difficult to teach because the students are different in the culture, religion,

etc. For learning more about technology the digital natives invent a game and this was

good because it was a way to teach or to explain about technology and this game has

good result because the students learn more and in a funny way, and this can be used like

a teaching-learning process. It is good that the students can learn with the technology

because is a simple way and for the digital natives is not much difficult but to the digital

immigrants it is but some teachers prefer the old methods teaching step by step instead to

the use the technology that is a good help to the teachers and also this help to thestudents to learn faster.

Today the students spent hours playing video games, watching television or listening to

music because they are growing up in a digital environment for some people use the

technology is something usual and also the students can study or memorize and at the

same time they can be listening to music or watching TV and for the students is something

normal do both things and this is because people has the ability to absorbs information

very fast.

In conclusion the technology is changing every day and it is necessary to many things

because today is necessary to have knowledge about this for have a good job and be agood professional. Is necessary to explain with new methods and this is using the

technology.
