Renee Zhang, China

Renee Zhang studied for her A-levels at EF. She is now studying for a BA (Hons) in mathematics and statistics at Oxford University. Renee’s spectacular A-level results earned her a place at Oxford after achieving four As, including two for mathematics. She also earned a distinction on the AEA exam, which is a special paper designed for the top 10% of all A-level students.

Stellar Exam Results

EF International Academy ensures that students have the necessary academic credentials to get into top-ranked universities. Our students have consistently out-performed national and world averages in A-level, IB diploma and IGCSE exam results with many achieving outstanding AAA or higher A-level grades and perfect scores in many of the IB subjects.

The world’s top universities demand all around excellence from students, including proficient language skills and high scores on entrance tests. EF International Academy provides special preparatory classes and materials to ensure that students succeed on university entrance exams such as the IELTS and TOEFL, as well as SAT general and subject tests.

EF International Academy’s university counseling support guarantees success for every student.

At EF International Academy, the preparation begins the moment a student joins our school. Students are assigned an experienced University Placement Advisor who will work with them to devise an individual application strategy.

Finding the right match

Students work with the university placement advisors to assess their aspirations, interests and career goals along with their abilities, grades and test scores. Advisors help the students to shortlist the list of universities and guide them through the application process.

Application Process

During the fall term of their 1st year of A-level or IB Diploma year, students participate in seminars on the university application process.

Fairs and University Campus Visits

As part our university counseling programme, EF International Academy organises frequent trips during school breaks to visit and tour university campuses and also attend information sessions by admissions staff and faculty.

Test Preparation

EF International Academy provides special preparatory classes and materials for SAT, IELTS and TOEFL exams. Students receive personal tutoring sessions and practice tests to excel in these university admission tests.

EF International Academy regularly organises seminars and guest lectures by renowned and accomplished individuals on various topics that help the students decide on their subject of study and university choices.
