They also liaise with your child’s dorm or host parents to make sure all is well at home. Residence “House Parents” and Homestay “Host Parents”If your child lives in a residence, dormitory parents provide support round-the-clock, whether that’s help with homework or a friendly ear at the end of the day. EF Academy in TorbayLocated on the Southwest Coast of England, Torbay is a popular resort community for British and international travelers alike. Known as the English Riviera, the area offers a wealth of beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, sports fields, and theatres while retaining a close-knit family atmosphere ideal for younger students. EF Academy’s campus is situated in a modern-day castle on a hill overlooking the bay. In 2012, the campus opened a new state-of-the-art building with spacious multimedia classrooms, technology centers, interactive science laboratories, art studios, and student lounge. Most students live with local host families, though there is also an off-campus dormitory dedicated to students under the age of 16.

Just 40 minutes from Manhattan, EF Academy’s secure campus offers 25 acres of tranquil, landscaped grounds with sweeping views of the Hudson River.
