FUTUROFUTURO

The future is a simple tense. It corresponds to the English:

will / shall + verb and

to be going to + verb.

CHANGING THE VERB

1.Drop the –e from the infinitive.

2. Add the appropriate ending.

3. If the verb is –are, then change the –a to –e before adding the ending.

Spelling Changes

Verbs ending in –care and –gare add h to the future tense stem after the c or g to keep the hard sound.

Verbs ending in –ciare and –giare drop the i because it is not needed to keep the soft sound.

-care & -gare = add H to stem

future tense. You must have a reflexive pronoun and the future verb
