I hope you have all enjoyed your holidays and have taken an opportunity to enjoy beautiful Spring weather.
Again I extend my congratulations and thanks to all involved in our terrific concert on Sunday 14th Sept. In case you didn’t see my email of 20th September I have included it again below, along with link to Facebook photos.

Danatys Coach & Bus Tours - coach transport from Lane Cove to the Con. Thanks to Natalia Busto & Claudio Saya who were so helpful. It was such a relief to have all players arrive together.
Conductors and tutors – Mark, Dom, Carlo, Eric – a great concert to end a great term. Thank you one and all.
Carlo – Wow what a terrific conducting debut with LCYO!
Composer – Jack Frerer. Homage to Zelda was a huge hit with everyone – thanks for working with us.
Sylvia, Lillian and all our CHS String Ensemble guests. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you all.
Alan Griffiths – ticketing through Trybooking. I think we are getting the hang of this. You made it easy – thanks.
Elizabeth Baldwin & Anna Birch – bus coordination and wine and nibbles. You managed it all without a hitch.
Heather, Svetlana – all other committee members. Thanks for a great team effort throughout the whole term and on the night.
Jordan East – a most professional barman with the essential RSA certificate. Thank you for all your help.
Soloists – Gilbert & Oliver – huge thanks guys. I am always so proud to be able to programme soloists especially when they play Australian repertoire!!
Guest player and all round helper – Eddy Fairburn – amazing.
Gemma Lipman – thanks so much for coming back to us – please return as often as you can.
ALL OF YOU – Thanks to all players of the lane Cove Youth Orchestra – well done, another terrific concert.

Coming up in Term Four: -
1. Monday 13th October 2014 - Rehearsals resume at LCPS 5.30 for 5.45pm as usual.
2. Sat 18th & Sun 19th October CANCELLED - Sadly this event on the tall ship James Craig has been cancelled by the Sydney Heritage Fleet. We love working with the Fleet and we love our pirate themed sleep-over event so we will organise another as soon as we can!!
3. Friday 14th November 2014 - Kaleidoscope - Lane Cove Plaza. Be there 4.45pm for 5.30 Kaleidoscope is an annual event held in Lane Cove Plaza to celebrate the cultural diversity in our community. This will be a great opportunity for LCYO to be seen and heard by many in Lane Cove - let’s show them all just what we are made of!
4. Monday 15th December - LCYO Family Xmas Party - at the newly renovated Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre OR at Greenwich Baths - time and other details TBC.
5. Thursday 18th December. - Carols at Waterbrook Retirement Resort. Be there 4.30 for 5pm. A favourite event. Waterbrook, a generous sponsor, always spoil us with a yummy take home treat after this festive event.
