What does he do?

• He puts out fires.• He rescues people and animals in trouble.• He climbs big ladders.• He drives a fire engine.

How does he prepare for his job ?

• He does a lot of exercise. • He is always training for his job. • He runs, he climbs a rope, and he lifts weights.

He uses the gym that is inside the fire station.

His work clothes are always ready to be used.

He also uses special tools.

He drives a fire engine.

There are different types of fire engines. This one has a big ladder.

This fire engine is full of water.

He also goes to schools to teach students about his job.

Sometimes, he comes with other firefighters.
