As you know, you must hand in Internet exercises once a month. In fact, if you

work well, you will discover that English teachers are becoming almost obsolete

and that you don’t need them at all. There are lots of English learning materials

online – you can choose grammar and vocabulary, but do not miss the chance to

practise your listening and reading skills. There are chats for learners of English

as well.

You can try these out, but remember to hand in a printed copy of the exercise

you choose! And remember, use only FREE materials, do not buy anything!

As you know, the easiest way to find something on the web is with

http://www.google.com, a search engine. You can type in ESL exercises free, or

whatever you are looking for, for example, ‘infinitives and gerunds’. You’ll be

surprised at the results. This may be time consuming, however.

Here are some websites that may be interesting for Batxillerat students:

http://www.autoenglish.org . This is good to practise everything on your

syllabus. It has grammar exercises with links to explanations. If you go to ‘Free

online courses’ (intermediate) it can help you plan your exercises.

http://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/grammar. Lots of topics to work on.

http://english.baladre.org Choose batxillerat exercises.

http://agendaweb.org Exercises on vocabulary, grammar, verbs, listening. Links

to lots of other sites. Really useful for what you have to do.

http://learn-english-today.com: very useful practice for batxillerat.

http://englisch-hilfen.de/en A German website (careful with the spelling!) with lots

of materials.

http://englishpage.com Another classical site. Good tutorials and exercises.

http://www.ompersonal.com.ar/OMFIRST/presentacion1.htm

A FREE First Certificate course online, with vocabulary, grammar, excellent

reading and listening comprehension. Registration is free. You can also

subscribe to a newsletter. Try the intermediate course as well!

http://www.isabelperez.com/grammar.htm Lots of exercises and links to choose

from.

http://www.englishtown.com/master/hp Scroll down the page and subscribe to

‘Recibe gratis lecciones de inglés, por e-mail, a diario’. Don’t buy anything!

These are different exercises

(‘Monthtly autonomous homework’)

You have a list of websites to

practise grammar, vocabulary or

listening.

Choose what you need and hand in

your exercises once a month.

This is compulsory.
