Day 1 Underground Naples. 14:00 check-in 15:00 visit to the monumental complex of the Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore and the ruins of the basilica, to better know underground Naples. About 16:00, visit the Museum Complex of the Purgatorio ad Arco, Naples. In its valuable underground, the church holds ancient skeletons and skulls, among the most important the ones of Lucia, the young bride who still inspires prayers and invocations. At 18.00, visit the Bourbon Tunnel, ancient underground tunnel commissioned by King Ferdinand II in order to connect, for military purposes, the Royal Palace to Via Morelli. Day II Surface Naples. Visit the historic center of Naples and its main monuments. 09:30, visit Piazza del Carmine and the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, the Cathedral of Naples with the relics of San Gennaro, patron of the city. At about 11:30, visit the local workshops of the historic center of Naples, to admire some master struggling with their work, handed down from generation to generation. Visit Piazzetta Nilo to admire a Hellenistic statue representing the Nile god, probably erected by Alexandrians. 14:00 lunch. 16:00 visit the Chapel of San Severo, to admire the striking sculpture of the Veiled Christ, a superb masterpiece and other fascinating anatomical machines. 17:30 Visit the monumental complex of the Church of Santa Chiara, Square Jesus and Church of Gesu Nuovo, with its impressive diamond tip facade, Piazza Carità and the historical Via Toledo, famous Neapolitan shopping street. 20:00 Piazza Trieste e Trento and Piazza del Plebiscito. Return to the hotel. Free evening.

Day III Naples seen from above. 09.30 visit to the Castel Sant 'Elmo, from the hill of San Martino, and visit the Certosa di San Martino, one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture and art which represents with its church, plaster, marble and the museum a monumental complex of superb workmanship. 13:30 lunch 16:00 shuttle, visit the Posillipo hill, where you can visit the Caves of Seiano, legendary cavity 770 meters long (also visited by Goethe) linking Coroglio with the Roman villa (actually called Pausilypon) of Publio Vedio Pollione. 18:00 Walk in the Parco Virgiliano, located at the highest point of the Posillipo hill, where you can rest and enjoy the spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples. Return to the hotel. Free time. .

Day IV Day in Capri

Morning departure by hydrofoil, guided tour of the island, with its

famous square and the streets of Italian high fashion.

13:30 Lunch

Ferry and return in the evening.

Day V

Pompeii and Oplonti

09:00 Transfer to the ruins of Pompeii, the ancient and famous Roman

city buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD

13:30 quick snack

15:00 visit the excavations of Oplonti, archaeological ruins belonging to

the ancient suburb once called Oplontis, buried along with Pompeii,

Herculaneum and Stabiae as a result of the eruption, and today

recognized as Torre Annunziata.

19:00 back to the hotel. Dinner.

Day VI

Campi Flegrei

In the morning, visit the picturesque area of Campi Flegrei. The day

includes a stop at the Casina Vanvitelliana, built by the Bourbons, and

at the Aragonese Castle of Baia, which now houses the Archaeological

Museum in the Campi Flegrei, with the magnificent archaeological finds

of the Gulf.
