An online program that allows you to create a scrapbook
Combine photos, videos, audio, and text
Allows for creativity!
Getting started
Visit the website http://www.scrapblog.com/
On the top, click the button Log-in or sign up to create your account or access other projects you’ve created
You can also create a scrapblog without signing up as a “test drive” or practice
Here’s an example…

Now You’re Ready… You’re ready to start your very own scrapblog! You have two choices
Start with a Theme Choose from many pre-
selected templates and layouts
Add your own pictures to personalize
Father’s Day, Fairy Tales, Prom, Yearbook
Start with a blank page Build your Scrapblog
from scratch You can still customize
your project using photos, stickers, and backgrounds
Here’s What It Looks Like…
Whatever you Choose…
Scrapblog will take you automatically to the set-up screen to start your project
Whether you have decided to use a theme or start from scratch, you must upload the pictures you want to include in your project
On the left hand side of the screen, there will be the tab “Get Photos”
You can upload photos from your computer, Facebook, Photobucket, Flickr, Webshots
This is what you should see…
All of your tools to personalize your Scrapblog (photos, stickers, backgrounds) are in this left hand column
After you have uploaded the photos…
They will appear on the left hand side of the screen
• If you have chosen to use the templates, hold down your mouse on the picture and drag it onto the already existing photos to make it your own!
• If you chose to create your own scrapblog from scratch, hold down your mouse on the picture and drag it anywhere onto the page.
Now comes the fun part…
You can add Stickers, Backgrounds, text, shapes, and video!
Just click on the link of the accessory you want to add
Click on the sticker, background, shape that you want. It will appear on the left hand of the screen like the pictures did
Then drag it onto your page to join your pictures

Scrapblog and the Curriculum
Scrapblog can be used in any content area!
Literacy- Use Scrapblog to illustrate a student’s personal narrative
Social Studies- Make a Scrapblog of a historical figure’s life
Scrapblog and the Curriculum con’t.
Science- Document how to perform a scientific experiment properly
Math- Illustrate word problems and how to solve them with Scrapblog
