Term 3, Week 10 - Tuesday 22 September 2020
Wow! The last week of Term 3 has come around far too quickly. I hope that all of our students and their families have a safe and relaxing break during the holidays.
Our school is participating in the Department of Education initiative, Tell Them From Me parent feedback survey. Please spare some time to complete this survey as it will give us valuable feedback for our new, four year Strategic Improvement Plan.
At this stage, we have had no changes to the current restrictions applying to primary schools. There are some changes around formals (mainly for Year 12 to date) that may have implications for Year 6 end of school activities, but we are waiting for further information from the Department to see what that looks like for us. We are also waiting for guidance on what will be possible with our Presentation Night.
Please continue to maintain the restrictions regarding non-essential adults coming into our school grounds. If you are dropping off after 9am or picking up before 3:00pm, we will bring your children to you when you come to collect them via the front office. Please share this information with other members of your family who may come to pick up students. Thank you.
We are looking forward to seeing the students return to school on Monday 12 October.
Have a lovely week and a restful holiday.

Reading Day 2020
Reading Day this year was a bit different to previous years. We were all able to watch a video presentation put together by the Reading Day Committee. This enabled us to connect with community in a different way this year. The students enjoyed watching the presentation and discussed the importance of reading in the wider world.
Each student was given an activity book by the committee and enjoyed completing some of the activities. Most will have taken this book home.
K-2 students enjoyed dressing up in uniform. We had the Queen, astronauts, farmers, chefs and even students!
Thank you so much for your efforts to support the message of Reading Day and the importance of reading, singing, talking and rhyming from birth.
