Conclusion - Genre Deconstructions

What initially sprung to me was the fact that the starring actor’s names in the opening titles of the films and the rest of the crew is credited in the ending titles.All four of the films I deconstructed portrayed a sense of heroism in the main character. For example Rocky starts out as a less-than-amateur boxer who, by the end of the film, becomes known as a beloved figure by his country, I do not believe that this is coincidence, i believe this being down to newer franchises being somewhat reincarnations of their predecessors.

Uses of CGI and other technological advancements that allow us to do virtually anything with a few clicks of a mouse. This however doesn't mean that these technological advancements arent neccessary as they provide utmost convenience when dealing with SFX (Special Effects) which are used fairly heavily in the action genre in particular. Traditionally, the SFX team for a movie would have to actually replicate the explosion etc. on the set of the movie which could potentially be a health and safety risk and could damage the set which would cause complications for further filming, so while it isn't technically required to create SFX it surely does save time and money in both the short and long term.

All four films opened with quite inspiring music that lifted the mood and instantly told the viewer the kind of movie that it would be, and as I previously mentioned, this was no coincidence. All the films also estalbished themselves with quite long shots to show where the scene is set and the viewer can most often learn more about the film just by this shot than before a character even speaks.
