Reception Trip – Unicorn Theatre Last week we went on our annual trip to the Unicorn Theatre to see BOING. We loved BOING. It was a really funny play, it made us laugh and smile. BOING was about two boys on Christmas Eve; they were very excited. An important message to all the boys and girls was: "If you want Santa to come, you have to go to sleep." Thank you once again for the parent support.

Forest School Fundraising Mr Patel from the Londis on Fountayne Rd has offered to donate all the money he gets from 5p carrier bags to the school. We’re going to put the money towards our Forest School Curriculum because it raises the pupils awareness of the environment. School Trips – REMINDER Trips are really exciting for the children; they really enjoy the experience of learning outside school. To help the support your children please could you bring them to school on time. Some classes have missed their workshops because they have been waiting for children that have come to school late

and delayed the start of the journeyWant to improve your Maths or English? Calling all parents and carers who want to improve their Maths or English. There are free assessment sessions to work out your current level and find the right class for you. Classes are FREE too. See the flyer below for more information about assessment dates and venues.

Forest School – Winter Wrap As you know we provide waterproof clothes for each child attending Forest School. But, as winter approaches and the weather gets wetter and colder, please ensure that your child is warmly wrapped up, wearing warm coats, hats, gloves and thermal socks.

Northwold Rucksacks – AVAILABLE NOW

Finally, the new totally fantastic Northwold Rucksacks have landed. In two sizes, in Northwold’s blazing red, don’t they look fabulous. The large one below costs £10.50 and the smaller one, at the top of the newsletter, costs £8.50. Snap them up in the Office, while you can!

Wednesday Coffee Mornings Every Wednesday from 9.00-10.00am there will be a coffee morning held in the Canteen. Each week, one of the school’s leaders will be talking about their area of responsibility. The next meeting is on 14th December. Mr Braune will be talking about how to program a robot and about programming in the new curriculum. We look forward to seeing you there.

Come and meet me at 9.00 am on Wednesday 14th December in the Canteen, where Mr Braune, my handler, will be showing parents how I can be used to teach children how to write computer code.
