Other than time with family, friends and church my

favorite thing to do is love on and play with my little grand-dog whose name is

Tiffanie, but I call her Grandma’s Baby. She is a

fluffy white Bishon Frise who loves to give me kisses and who loves to play with her

toys. She has set behind me in my desk chair the whole

four years of my studies here at TWU, so when I

graduate this May so will she

At TWU, I have always loved being involved in student organizations and activities. As a sophomore, I became

a G Force mentor for high school students and it allows me to venture off-campus and help the community

have access to information about higher education. My favorite TWU

tradition is Spring Fling! It is an amazing experience where all

campus organizations come together for the golf car parade, and everyone

shows their school spirit.

Opening the door, that led me into TWU, was the first of many. It’s amazing, and a dream come true to receive all the blessings that TWU has provided for me. From an on campus job the first

day of classes to acceptance into the JAMP program. The memories TWU has given me are too many. But I appreciate every single one of them and am beyond grateful for all the

opportunities I have received at TWU and from TWU. Choosing this school to receive my bachelor’s degree, was the best

decision I ever made. - Christian

Though it is my job, I enjoy working at SLRC, the Science Learning Resource Center. I

have fun on magic shows, with the KEM Club. I enjoy simply walking through the campus, observing all the nature the

campus surrounds us with. All the green, from the grass and the trees, the squirrels running around, and the clouds above is relaxing after a hard day at

work and school.

My favorite activities on campus would have to be the TWU Block party and Spring Fling Golf Cart Parade. These activities really bring together organizations and students together to be a part of something bigger and show their school spirit.

is where I have met some amazingly talented people that

have inspired me and will be my lifelong friends. TWU has introduced me to professors,

advisors, and mentors that saw potential in me I did not see and pushed me to surpass it.

TWU has ignited my potential, instilled in me purpose, and made me the person I am

today. TWU is my home and has made the biggest impact on my life thus far.”- Pablo

“I'm a first generation of college graduate in my family. Middle child of six and the last one to earn my bachelor degree. It's been a hell of 2 1/2 years of "No LIFE" but, looking back now.......it's all worth it. TWU

is the key that opens doors and windows into my future in the health care field personally and

professionally. I will start my first career after graduating with MD Anderson in June 2014 and

promise to continue the legacy of TWU. ”~Daffanie

My favorite activities.........volunteering at the

various events at TWU through Student Government Association, The

Office of Student Life, and local chapter of Texas Nursing Student

Association on campus and off. It's such a joy to see the surprise on new

students and the happiness and enjoyment of our campus and in the

"thankfulness" from the people of the community. I truly felt that I made a

differences!

Some things I enjoy doing include

discovering eclectic & vintage thrift stores, being outdoors with

husband, and laughing with my family. During my time on campus, I really enjoyed running around Denton for race

training.

community service and explore/foster leadership skills through SAAC and the Honors program is invaluable in

My favorite activities include: gymnastics scrapbooking hanging out with friends and family hiking

and enjoying the outdoors.
