Our parish kept busy and active over the summer months. We had a parish car wash that raised more than $600 for the work and ministry of our parish. Thanks to Bank Five and Tracey for making this happen. Our Acolytes attended the annual diocesan Acolyte retreat in Woonsocket - had a great time and learned more about serv-
ing at the Altar. They had some time to make and renew friendships with youth across the diocese.
Our parish neighborhood watch group held an out-door cookout where the business as usual was put aside and we enjoyed each others company and tre-mendous deserts. Our annual summer Clam Boil was another success raising nearly $3000 for
the parish. Congratula-tions to the sisters who won the clam sculpture contest. Thanks to all who prepared and served our summer boil. Thanks also to Frances for donat-ing and selling some of Ted’s paintings for the benefit of the parish. Also we thank the Krudys fam-ily for donating a pair of Red Sox tickets for our raffle.

“Jesus asked, ‘Which of
these three, do you think,
was a neighbor to the man
who fell into the hands of
the robbers?’ The lawyer
said, ‘The one who showed
him mercy.’ Jesus said to
him, ‘Go and do like-
wise.”’

our retreat and will put that
into practice during their lives.
