1. SCHEDULE A CAMPUS VISIT.You can � nd available dates and register online at go.cmich.edu/visitor contact the Admissions O� ce at 989-774-3076.
2. TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR.Explore the entire campus and discover what it means to be a CMU Chippewa at tour.cmich.edu.
3. APPLY FOR ADMISSION. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis, but those received by Nov. 15 receive priority consideration for merit scholarships. We recommend applying at the end of your junior year in high school to have the best chance at CMU scholarships. Remember to send us your high school transcripts, and when you take the ACT or SAT, be sure to mark CMU as a top choice so we receive your score. Start your application at apply.cmich.edu.
4. COMPLETE YOUR FAFSA.You can � le your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning Jan. 1 atfafsa.ed.gov. Designate CMU as your schoolof choice to qualify for � nancial aid.

» The classes you took in high school and your grades in each class. We want to see a challenging course load and either consistently high grades or an upward trend from your freshman to senior year. The middle 50 percent of incoming freshmen have a high school GPA between 3.0 and 3.7.
» Your test score. The middle 50 percent of incoming freshmen havean ACT score between 20 and 25 (SAT score 950-1150).
