Instead of saying “Contents”, The creators of the magazine have made the masthead a little bit different by putting “Inside this week”. This instantly makes the contents page more interesting and also informs the reader that the magazine is out each week. The masthead also acts as a bit of an enigma and helps to draw in the audience.

The Masthead is placed at the top of the page so that it is the first thing that the audience reads. They have used a bold, block font really attract attention to the mast head and to ensure it stands out.

A Simple contents listed in chronological order according to the page number. The word “Plus” is written in a more feminine font to counteract the more masculine style of the magazine and make it more appealing to both genders.

The same font is used for each article title to avoid confusing the reader and to make it more simple for them. The page numbers are all bold to help them to stand out.

As a more eye catching way of presenting the contents, the magazine has created a contents based around images with captions or article titles. This is a fantastic way of presenting a contents page as it catches the audiences eyes and makes different articles seem much more interesting.

Contents pages have a stigma of being “The boring page” However the way this is presented ad's a quirky and interesting style and takes the boringness out of the page. It also gives the viewer more of an insight of what the article is going to be about.

The Page numbers are all in the same style, red and bold, and are all placed in the bottom right hand side of the corner; this means that if a viewer see’s a image that they are interested in, they can quickly find which page the image is featured on

I really like the layout of this magazine. It is quite unusual and makes the contents page much more interesting.

The colour scheme matches the one used on the cover which adds stability to the magazine and does not confuse the reader.
