HOLY HOUR/BENEDICTION: The next scheduled Holy Hour and Benediction will take place Wednesday, June 19th, at St. Alphonsus from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. CALLING ALL KIDS 4 - 10 YEARS OLD: ROAR Vacation Bible School will be hosted at Saint Patrick Parish from June 24th to June 28th from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM each day. At ROAR, kids discover that God is good even when life get wild! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Science-Fun Gizmos they will take home and play with all summer long. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they have learned. Kids at ROAR VBS will join a missions effort to provide nutrition packets and health check-ups for moms and babies in need in Zambia, Africa. All 4-10 -year-olds are invited. WAMA FOOD PANTRY: is happily relocated to their new place at 105 West Allegheny Road (warehouse behind Rite Aid) and the following are June's Distributions dates: Tuesday, June 25th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and Wednesday evening, June 26th from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. They would appreciate any help our churches can give them as they are now back to their normal schedule for the 2019 year. Many of the area churches do not have people who can volunteer during their month, so they hope that anyone from any of the churches will volunteer any month that they can. Please call 724-695-1305 to let their FP Coordinators: Tim Opfermann and Linda Stoner know if you can help. They need as many volunteers to help as they can get. Thank you for all your past help and they are looking forward to working with us in 2019. At the present time, there is no plan to reopen the Thrift Store. MINISTRY SCHEDULES: Schedules for Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors, beginning September 1st through January 5th, are soon to be prepared by Bev Foreman. Please call her by Sunday, June 23rd, at 724.693.8264 if you have any preferences or days NOT to be scheduled. Please be aware that this schedule includes Christmas and New Year Masses. Please also note that this scheduling is only tentative and is subject to change as Mass times for holidays/holy days have not been announced yet. BAPTISM CLASS: The next baptism class for our par ish grouping will be tomorrow, Monday, June 17th, 7:00 PM, at St. Ann, in the par ish hall (underneath the church). MISSION WEEK TO AID HOMEOWNERS IN MCDONALD & SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES: Our friends at McDonald Presbyterian Church are asking us to participate in their “MPC Summer Service Week” July 22nd – July 28th. Teams of Teen and Adult volunteers will offer free home repairs for homeowners in need. They will do basic home repair projects and are adult-supervised. Teams consist of local church members, clergy, teachers, and lay leaders. Homeowners must be 55+ or have a documented disability to qualify.
