A flowchart is a diagram that describes a process or operation. It includes multiple steps, in which the process “Flows” through from “Start” to “Finish”.

The process use different symbols containing information about steps or a sequence of events. Each of these symbols is linked with arrows to illustrate the flow direction of the process.

According to techfreAks:

The trouble spots, encountered during project preparation are as follows:-

LOGIC COMPLEXITY :

Sometimes, the program logic is quite complicated. In that case, flowchart becomes complex and clumsy. This will become a pain for the user, resulting in a waste of time and money, trying to correct the problem.

ALTERATION AND MODIFICATIONS :

If any type of alterations and modifications are done in flowchart then it may require re-drawing the complete flowchart and this will usually waste valuable time.

REPRODUCTION:

As the flowchart symbols can not be typed, reproduction of flowchart becomes a problem.

Lesson learned during project progression:A flowchart is a plot that is representative of the group as well as movement of a specific practice that displays actions while boxes or even amounts in which hook up by means of collections or arrows. Flowcharts give a efficient strategy to arrange , examine, design and style along with doc.

It is a saying “A photograph or a diagrammatic representation is equal to thousand words.

Visual representation gives a visible manifestation of any concept and may help to make it distinct.

Reports will often be conceptual , yet the flow sheet helps you to set up along with present your notions.

But in technical terms, the essentials of what is done can be easily lost in the technical details of how it is done and flowchart are not meant for man to computer communication.

Also, the flowcharts are the ware of time and slow down process of software.

It all concludes that sometimes it’s more effective to visualize something graphically that it is to describe it with words.
