CLEWER OY’S SEWAGE CLEANING BIOREACTOR

CFD ANLYSIS

The flow and mixing dynamics of CLEWER OY’s bioreactor (that is a new device used for sewage cleaning system) have been

analyzed using CFD techniques. Various comparisons are performed in the research for various nozzle locations, multiphase

masses, bubble sizes, shell and baffles geometries as well as solid-phase process age. By analyzing the effects of these variations

the flow-, mixing- and rotational dynamics may have been optimized. Such a CFD technique and the analyzed results can be

evidently used for many similar industrial processes that are using complex flows such as liquid particle suspension.
