He later moved into Graphic Design and Photography with his passion for the natural world inspiring and form-ing his very subject matter. These three elements are probably the dynamic he is most famous for. THE CAPE INSPIRES: Local Durban Photographer Clinton Friedman’s Cape Fynbos Exhibition.

Clinton Friedman’s photography transcends genre to showcase a talent as diverse as the countries he has travelled to. His documentation of living space, landscapes, culture, food and botanics exposes the com-plexity of his subjects and cap-tures attention at first glance. “The images I make may be pho-tographic or pure vector design, commercial or fine art. I pride myself on being dynamic, uncon-ventional and visionary.”

His artistic vision has moved his art from gallery walls through to design elements for your home. Striking im-agery transformed into tangible accents of decorative detail, in the form of scatter cushions, wallpaper and fur-niture. Clinton’s décor pieces have featured in top design magazines locally and internationally and are stocked at exclusive décor retailers.

Clinton’s new venture has brought him to the Western Cape, whereby Indigenous Fynbos has inspired a new project of botanical images. The first phase of the project allows the public to view the photographs in a tra-ditional format. The pieces making up his Cape Fynbos Exhibition were framed at ORMS PRINT ROOM AND FRAMING and will be exhibited at Kirstenbosch: Art in the Garden from 5 February – 25 February 2015.
