Kissimmee, FL - Kissimmee Utility Authority nombró a Eric Headlee como su Lector de Medidores del Año 2012.Headlee fue escogido entre 18 lectores de medidores a

tiempo completo y parcial por su volumen de lectura de medidores y la exactitud, así como su asistencia, fiabilidad, liderazgo y manejo de tiempo durante el pasado año.Headlee leyó 113,733 medidores eléctricos, de agua y de

irrigación, en el 2012 con una tasa de exactitud de 99.97 por ciento. También tuvo asistencia perfecta durante el año.El lector de medidores Angel Quiles fue nombrado primer

finalista con lectura de 111,348 medidores y una exactitud de 99.96 por ciento.“En un año típico, los lectores de medidores de KUA caminan

walks nearly 2,000 miles in all weather conditions,” said Susan Postans, KUA’s vice president of customer service. “They frequently encounter dogs, snakes, spiders, bee hives and other potential hazards along their routes, which makes their reading accuracy that much more remarkable.”KUA’s meter readers ended 2012 with

nearly two million total meter reads with an accuracy rate of 99.96 percent.

Parents can register their child at the Oak Street Park Community Center to participate in a planned field trip to the Orlando Science Center.The day includes

supervised care from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., field trip transportation, admission including a Cinedome IMAX movie, afternoon

snacks, and lots of fun. The field trip is open to all school-aged children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The students must bring a bagged lunch. The fee is $25 per child.Space is limited, so

documentos notariados.Los nuevos ITIN serán otorgados

por un periodo de cinco años en lugar de por tiempo indefinido. El IRS tiene una sección con

en el Nacional Entrepreneur Center en Orlando, donde todos los profesionales selectos fueron honrados. Además de ellos,

asistieron al evento auspiciado por el Popular Community Bank, miembros de la Junta del HCCMO, fideicomisarios y representantes de los miembros de la Cámara. La lista de 25 nombres fue recopilada por la

orlando, FL - The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) published a special issue of their quarterly magazine Vision, in which they selected the 25 Influential Hispanics in Central Florida, including their 2012 Chairman of the Board, Maritza Martinez.A reception took place on Tuesday, February 5th at the

National Entrepreneur Center in Orlando, where all the selected individuals were honored. In addition to them, HCCMO board members, trustees and chamber member representatives attended the event sponsored by Popular Community Bank.The list of 25 names was complied by the editorial board

of Vision Magazine. Each of the board members was given instructions to choose 10 or more candidates who have demonstrated leadership or contributed to the enrichment and growth of the Hispanic community in Central Florida.Using scoring based on specific criteria

in a variety of categories, the editorial board chose 25 nominees from over 100 submitted names. The 25 nominees with the higher scores are represented in the issue with a little bit of information about their work.We congratulate all the individuals

Sheriff & Police - Noticias / NewsAgentes arrestan dos sospechosos de robo a WalgreensCondado osceola, FL -

Los agentes del Sheriff del Condado Osceola arrestaron a Michael Murphy y Torrey Jeringan y los acusaron de Robo, Gran Robo y Conducta Criminal.La investigación comenzó

el 31 de enero, aproximada-mente a la 1:10 a.m., cuando los agentes respondieron a la alarma del Walgreen localiza-do en el 2900 Boggy Creek Road en Kissimmee. Deputies Arrest Two Suspects for Walgreens Burglaryosceola County, FL -

Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Murphy and Torrey Jernigan and charged them with Burglary, Grand Theft and Criminal Mischief.The investigation began on

January 31 at approximately 1:10 a.m. when deputies responded to an alarm at Walgreens located at 2900 Boggy Creek Road in

Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the store’s security personnel who indicated they observed on surveillance video two suspects, later identified as Murphy and Jernigan, enter the store through the front door using what appeared to be a crow bar. They were seen putting cigarettes and gift cards into a trash can and leaving the store with the trash can.

Deputies in the area located suspects matching their description and conducted a traffic stop. Numerous burglary tools and the stolen items were found in their vehicle. Based on the information, Jernigan and Murphy were arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail. The investigation is on-going with additional charges pending.

Need Help Identifying 2 Applebee’s Armed Suspects osceola County, FL -

Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives need the public’s help in identifying two armed robbery suspects. The investigation began on January 24 at approximately 3:06 a.m. when deputies responded to Applebee’s Restaurant located at 2060 E. Osceola Parkway in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the manager who indicated the restaurant was closed when two males wearing masks

and hoodies approached him. One suspect had a handgun and the other suspect was holding a long metal pipe. A physical altercation ensued and the suspects hit the manager with the gun and tied him up before leaving the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money.One suspect is described

There are some positive things to take away from all this. Magic rookies have been seeing significantly more playing time. While they are still too young to carry the team, these minutes mean growth and development and they are the future of the franchise. Center Kyle O’Quinn put up eleven

points in just seven minutes of the fourth quarter during the 97 to 84 loss to the Boston Celtics. Guard E’Twaun Moore managed 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal while Andrew Nicholson had a double double with ten rebounds and 14 points. Of course our key players did their part as well. Nik Vucevic put up another double double with 14 points and rebounds. Aaron Afflalo, Glen Davis and Al Harrington were the only injured players going into this game. Jameer Nelson suffered a severe bruise to his forearm and has been day to day ever since without dressing for a game. In Milwaukee against the Bucks,

Nik Vucevic lead the team with 12

rebounds, six assists, twenty points, two steals and two blocks. Maurice Harkless had his best performance of the season with his first double double. Harkless had 19 points, 14 rebounds, four steals and one assist. He told the media it was Afflalo who told him this is his time to go out and be more aggressive and that’s just what he did. The Magic would lose this one 107 to 98 and also lose DeQuan Jones with a foot injury and JJ Redick to a shoulder injury.

The last game on the road was against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Magic were down to nine players who were not injured. Coach Jacque Vaughn noted that with six more of those gone they would have won the game, dare to dream Coach. Through all the misfortune this team has experienced they’ve managed to stay positive. The Magic fell short when they face

the Clippers on Wednesday. Even without Blake Griffin and Chris Paul the Clippers walked away with an 86 to 76 win. Jameer Nelson returned to the court with 18 points and four assists. Nik Vucevic had another double double with 15 points and 14 rebounds while Kyle O’Quinn fell just one rebound shy of his own double double with nine boards and ten assists. The deadline is fast approaching and Manager, Rob Hennigan, needs to do something to put his team on a successful path.
