About the Department:
Welcome to the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering.
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication was established in 2008. Since its
inception the department has been providing quality technical education with a synergy between
staff & students. Our students are greatly benefited by the guidance of our faculty, industrial
expert, well equipped LABs & research associates.
The field of electronics and telecommunications has revolutionized the world over
the last century. The development of fundamental theories in transmission of information in late
1930s and transistor in early 1950s and IC design in 1970’s had changed the world forever.
Ground breaking innovations in the core field of Electronics and Telecommunications haves
slowed down but the innovations in the applications of these two fields have exploded over the
last two decades. Now the technology development in such away in nano meter era of IC In fact
it is in other VLSI core industries that we find real applications of our field which touch every
human being.
Department Vision
To be recognized as a department offering technical education in the field of Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineering for the betterment of society.

“Classroom Automation Using Microcontroller”
Group Members: - Guide Name:-Ms. P. N. Kajave
Mr. Nikhil Niteen Desai.
Mr. Vaibhav Hanmantrao Damame.
Mr. Rohan Rajkamal Mane.
ABSTRACT:-
The advancement of technology the ease with which we are getting accesses to electrical
products is increasing and with that the power consumption is also increasing. Most of the power
is being wasted because we forget to switch of a light and fan. So develop a device that supports
software to decrease the power consumption in classroom. The scope of industrialization where
as automation will decreases human efforts. This automation will be developed by using sensor
and microcontroller. Automation play important role in world economy and in daily experience.
Through this project we have tried to show automatic control of class room and house.
CONCLUSION:-
This is a very low cost system for automation many home application to save lots of power
turning them off when they are not required. It is easy to add more number of sensor modules to
increases range of operation.

ABSTRACT:-
Vehicle security system has been a great interest over the years due to the increasing vehicle
security theft causes all over world. Most of the advanced vehicle security system best suit the
four wheelers. When under attack this system can only immobilize the engine and sound a loud
alarm. In our proposed system security system various new features are included in addition to
the engine immobilizer, alarm and system are alerting owner by SMS about the theft attack. User
can control the system remotely by SMS, tracking the location of vehicle using GPS technology,
remote keyless system; servo motor operated locking system (Handle lock, Fuel lock).
CONCLUSION:-
Having integrated all the things we have good result we can able to secure our vehicle in any
area by controlling on/ off action of petrol system, engine locking system and handle locking
system.
Technical Thoughts By Students
4G Technology
4G, short for fourth generation, is the fourth generation of mobile
telecommunications technology, succeeding 3G. A 4G system must provide capabilities defined
by ITU in IMT Advanced. Potential and current applications include amended mobile
web access, IP telephony, gaming services, high-definition mobile TV, video conferencing, 3D
television, and cloud computing.[citation needed]
Two 4G candidate systems are commercially deployed the Mobile WiMAX standard
(first used in South Korea in 2007), and the first-release Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard
(in Oslo, Norway, and Stockholm, Sweden since 2009). It has however been debated if these
first-release versions should be considered to be 4G or not, as discussed in thetechnical
definition section below.
In the United States, Sprint (previously Clearwire) has deployed Mobile WiMAX
networks since 2008, while Metro PCS became the first operator to offer LTE service in 2010.
USB wireless modems were among the first devices able to access these networks, with WiMAX
smart phones becoming available during 2010, and LTE smart phones arriving in 2011. 3G and
4G equipment made for other continents are not always compatible because of different
frequency bands. Mobile WiMAX is not available for the European market as of April 2012.
In March 2008, the International Telecommunications Union-Radio communications
sector (ITU-R) specified a set of requirements for 4G standards, named the International Mobile
Telecommunications Advanced (IMT-Advanced) specification, setting peak speed requirements
for 4G service at 100 megabits per second (Mbit/s) for high mobility communication (such as
from trains and cars) and 1 gigabit per second (Gbit/s) for low mobility communication (such as
pedestrians and stationary users).

Satellite Communication
A communications satellite is an artificial satellite that relays and amplifies radio
telecommunications signals via a transponder; it creates a communication channel between a
source transmitter and a receiver at different locations on Earth. Communications satellites are
used for television, telephone, radio, internet, and military applications. There are over 2,000
communications satellites in Earth’s orbit, used by both private and government organizations.
Wireless communication uses electromagnetic waves to carry signals. These waves require line-
of-sight, and are thus obstructed by the curvature of the Earth. The purpose of communications
satellites is to relay the signal around the curve of the Earth allowing communication between
widely separated points. Communications satellites use a wide range of radio and microwave
frequencies. To avoid signal interference, international organizations have regulations for which
frequency ranges or "bands" certain organizations are allowed to use. This allocation of bands
minimizes the risk of signal interference.
Today's satellite communications can trace their origins all the way back to February
1945 and Arthur C.Clarke's letter to the editor of Wireless World magazine, Clarke further
fleshed-out this theory in a paper titled Extra-Terrestrial Relays – Can Rocket Stations Give
Worldwide Radio Coverage?, published in Wireless World in October 1945. Decades later a
project named Communication Moon Relay was a telecommunication project carried out by the
United States Navy? Its objective was to develop a secure and reliable method of wireless
communication by using the Moon as a natural communications satellite.
