CITYOPT planning applica3on • Target groups:
– City planners, energy u3li3es • Aim of the tool:
– Find op3mal energy solu3ons for districts in the planning phase
• How it will work: – 1) user creates different energy scenarios, scenarios are simulated
by a simula3on program connected, OR simula3on results can be imported. The tool op3mises which scenario is the best. User sets weighing criteria (Economic/Emissions). OR
– 2) the user sets only basic informa3on and the tool finds out through gene3c algorithms what is the most op3mal energy solu3ons. This requires the tool to be connected to a simula3on soRware

Helsinki study case - Kalasatama
Tavoite: analysoida optimaaliset sähkövarastoratkaisut.
Alueen energiavirrat simuloidaan APROS simuloin3ohjelmalla. Eri skenaarioita mallinnetaan ja haetaan maksimaalista aurinkoenergiapoten3aalia. Anlyyseissä fokuksena on sähkövarastot ja niiden op3maalinen suunniXtelu.
Tarkastellaan/op3moidaan: • Varastojen eri koot • Eri sijoitusvaihtoehtoja
(hajauteXu/keskiteXy/maanalainen/rakennuskohtainen etc...)
• Demand response ac3vi3es’ influence on storage needs (connec3on to Nice demo)
